How do I enter my cloud provider's details?

Registering an account in Cloud Broker is diiferent depending on the cloud provider.

AWS Account

  1. To add a new AWS account (the plugin must be in enabled state), complete the following.
  2. Log in to the Cloud Broker.
  3. Navigate to the Admin menu, then Accounts
  4. Select Amazon Web Services
  5. Click
  6. In the Register AWS Account window, enter the following information. (see example screen below)
  • Name – Name for the account.
  • Access Key ID – AWS Access Key ID of the account.
  • Secret Access Key – AWS Secret Access Key for the account.
  • Description – Description for the account.

Microsoft Azure Account

  1. To add a new Microsoft Azure account (the plugin must be in enabled state), complete the following.
  2. Log in to the Cloud Broker.
  3. Navigate to the Admin menu, then Accounts
  4. Select Microsoft Azure
  5. Click  
  6. In the Register Azure Account window, enter the following information.
  • Name – Name for the account.
  • Subscription ID – Azure Subscription ID for the account.
  • Tenant ID – Azure Tenant ID for the account.
  • Client ID – Azure Client ID for the account.
  • Client Secret – Azure Client secret for the account.
  • Description – Description for the account.

VMware Account

  1. To add a new VMware account (the plugin must be in enabled state), complete the following.
  2. Log in to the Cloud Broker.
  3. Navigate to the Admin menu, then Accounts
  4. Select VMware
  5. Click the
  6. In the Register VMware Account window, enter the following information.
  • Name – Name for the account
  • vCenter Host – FQDN or IP address of the vCenter Server
  • Username – Username of the account that has Administrator role on vCenter
  • Password – Password of the account that has Administrator role on vCenter
  • Description – Description for the account
  • Charge Back – Enable Charge Back feature for the account. If enabled, enter the following.
    • Currency Code – Select currency code.
    • Cost per CPU/Hour – Enter the amount in currency format.
    • Memory Cost per MB/Hour – Enter the amount in currency format.
    • Storage Cost per GB/Hour – Enter the amount in currency format.
