Pre-Deployment Checklist

Prior to deployment of the Broker appliance, gather the below information.

Buttonwood recommends using the Buttonwood Broker Configuration Workbook to ensure all configuration information has been gathered for the deployment. This workbook should also be updated with configuration information post deployment to reflect the as-built Broker configuration.

• Obtain the latest release of the Broker Appliance OVA

• Review and configure Firewall Port Requirements
• Review and configure Proxy Whitelist
• Obtain appliance network configuration details
  • IP address
  • Subnet mask
  • Default gateway
  • FQDN
  • DNS servers
  • NTP servers
  • Proxy details
• Obtain Active Directory/LDAP configuration details
  • FQDN/IP address
  • Port
  • Bind user credentials
