This article describes the steps required to add a Git repository to the Buttonwood Cloud Broker to enable artifacts stored in repositories to be used in Blueprints.

Prerequisites

• Administrative access to the Broker UI
• Repository details, including:
  • Repository URI
  • Repository credentials

Procedure Steps

1. Login in the the Broker UI as an administrative user
2. Navigate to Admin > Control Panel
   
3. Select the Repositories tile
   
4. A list of existing Repositories is displayed
5. Click Add
6. At the Select Repository Type screen, select Git
   Click Add
   
7. At the Add Git Repository screen, enter the following details:
   • Name: Name for this repository
   • Repository URL: The URL of the Git repository in the format user@host.domain:/path/to/artifacts or as specified by the repository
   • Authentication method: Select the required authentication method and enter required credentials
   • Description: Description for this repository
     
8. Click Add
9. A status message indicates the status of the request
   
10. Perform a repository connection test and synchronisation
