This article describes the steps required to add a Git repository to the Buttonwood Cloud Broker to enable artifacts stored in repositories to be used in Blueprints.
Prerequisites
- Administrative access to the Broker UI
- Repository details, including:
- Repository URI
- Repository credentials
Procedure Steps
- Login in the the Broker UI as an administrative user
- Navigate to Admin > Control Panel
- Select the Repositories tile
- A list of existing Repositories is displayed
- Click Add
- At the Select Repository Type screen, select Git
Click Add - At the Add Git Repository screen, enter the following details:
- Name: Name for this repository
- Repository URL: The URL of the Git repository in the format user@host.domain:/path/to/artifacts or as specified by the repository
- Authentication method: Select the required authentication method and enter required credentials
- Description: Description for this repository
- Click Add
- A status message indicates the status of the request
- Perform a repository connection test and synchronisation
